Internship and Leadership Experience

Non-Profit Manager Intern, Soulside Healing Arts, Peoria, Illinois                   

June 2022 – September 2022

  • Generated a strategic proposal for corporate partnerships and services immediately implemented by Soulside with 4 new corporate contacts added to their corporate partnerships within a month of completion.

  • Developed a long-term garden plan which was utilized for grant opportunities and green development planning.

  • Sourced and installed new technology for the studio resulting in a decrease of energy use and waste.

  • Surveyed, discovered, and interpreted desires and needs of staff resulting in a proposal for various structures of meetings, and in-house continuing education which was instantly adopted by Soulside​.

Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor, Various Locations, Central Illinois                               

April 2017 – Present

  • Organize, manage, and teach yoga classes in gyms, studios, and community settings, while priming for psychological safety, and championing inclusivity

  • Co-Designed and co-led continuing education classes for fellow yoga instructors (July 2022, April 2023, April 2024) resulting in 30+ local community members integrating positively influential and inclusive practices into their work (yoga, therapy, healthcare, etc.)

Non-Profit Event Coordinator, Greater Peoria Area Homeschool Banquet, Central Illinois

March 2018 – March 2020

  • Marketed a grassroots event for homeschool high school students which successfully grew by 10% each year.

  • Managed all event details, including volunteers, catering, marketing, ticket sales and refunds, negotiating sales, etc. with delegation to volunteer tasks ensuring meaningful participation for all.

  • Formed a board upon retirement from the event to ensure the continuation of the banquet and its values of inclusion and safety.

 

Work Experience

Online Content Creator, A Stillness Yoga, Remote                                                                                         January 2019-Present

  • Create quality content for online distribution, centered on trauma-aware, self-empowering, exploratory healing supports such as journaling, yoga, tarot/card reading, astrology, herbalism, nature crafts, and art practices.

  • Podcast content scripted, and edited monthly, Live video content scripted, uploaded, and marketed seasonally, in addition to monthly infographics, guided journals, and a minimum of one annual poetry book.

  • Online workshops, and self-paced educational content, generated annually to address various timely topics related to self-regulation and curiosity led growth.

 

Academic Projects

Business and Sustainability II, ASU                                                                                                                           

Spring 2024

Collaborated with classmates to present a capstone paper on the benefits of hydropower, and recent technological innovations for this specific renewable energy.

  • Developed a virtual work schedule to accommodate a myriad of time zones, work capacities, and communication channels to facilitate clear expectations for involvement, reference source standards, and grade goals.
